What is Kotteri?

"Kotteri" is the Japanese word used to describe a broth that is incredibly rich and thick.

Tenkaippin's chicken based ramen broth was the first of its kind when it was first created in 1971 by Tsutomu Kimura. Since it was truly one of a kind at the time, patrons nicknamed it "Kotteri" ramen and now anyone who mentions Kotteri ramen in Japan knows it refers to Tenkaippin's legendary Kotteri ramen.
